Halloween
Halloween is a fun filled day with the children coming to school wearing their costumes. The parents join us this day and we go trick or treating in the gym receiving lots of treats!
Some spiders and bats visit our classroom for Halloween also!!

Thanksgiving
We celebrate Thanksgiving in our classroom by talking about what we are thankful for our families, friends, homes and school.
We have a special Thanksgiving fest of turkey, stuffing and vegetables!

Christmas Party
Our Christmas Party is a fun day and starts with the children doing a play about the real reason we celebrate Christmas
"Jesus was born on Christmas Day!"
After a snack of cookies we end the day with a pinata!

Valentine's Day
The children deliver Valentine's to their friends in bags they decorate. At the end of class the parents return to help the children open their Valentine's.

Easter Celebration
The children decorate Easter Bags that receive special treats in them. Every year something strange happens when we go to the gym. When we return there are bunny prints in our classroom and our Easter Bags have been moved! That bunny is fast, after all these years we have never seen him!!

Special Guest
We have a variety of special guest come to our classroom to share with the children. Port Huron Township Fire Department arrives every spring to teach the children about fire safety.
St. Bruan and Gunner the arson dog also come to teach about fire safety.

Graduation and Spring Program
Our end of the year programs are well attended by family and friends. They come to watch the children do songs and fingerplays they have learned at Ross Preschool.
